Couples Therapy
Break old patterns, improve communication, and rebuild trust so your relationship feels close and connected again.
Why Couples Come to Me
Many couples I work with feel stuck in the same arguments or long stretches of silence. Sometimes one partner struggles to open up, and the other feels shut out. Other times, unspoken cultural or family expectations make it hard to feel like you’re truly on the same team. You might still love each other deeply, but the closeness you once had feels out of reach and you’re ready for that to change.
Common Struggles I Help With
Communication breakdowns that turn into arguments or withdrawal
Emotional distance or one partner feeling “walled off”
Trust issues after hurt, betrayal, or repeated conflict
Balancing cultural or family expectations with your relationship needs
Rebuilding intimacy after years of growing apart
How We’ll Work Together
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you slow down reactive cycles, understand the needs and emotions underneath your conflicts, and practice new ways of connecting that feel safe and genuine. We’ll work to:
Hear each other without defensiveness or shutting down
Create a shared sense of safety and trust
Navigate differences with more empathy and less blame
Restore physical and emotional closeness
Build a relationship where both partners feel valued and understood
Let’s Begin the Conversation
You don’t have to keep repeating the same arguments or living with the same distance. Couples therapy can help you understand each other in a new way and create the closeness you’ve been missing.
