Therapy for Self-Doubt, Shame, and Relationship Disconnection in California
Support for self-doubt, shame, and relationship disconnection.
Individual Therapy for Self-Doubt, Shame, and Anxiety
Finding Your Voice, Reclaiming Your Worth
I work with adults who carry self-doubt, shame, regret, or the pressure to always be “the strong one.” Many grew up in families or cultures where emotions weren’t openly expressed, needs were minimized, and strength meant silence.
Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and reconnect with the parts of you that feel hidden or overlooked. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and move toward self-trust, clarity, and a life that feels more like yours.
Individual therapy can help you:
Understand and name what you’re feeling
Ease anxiety, sadness, shame, or emotional overwhelm
Reconnect with your values and sense of purpose
Build confidence in your decisions and identity
Heal from past wounds while honoring your story
Couples Therapy for Emotional Disconnection and Communication Issues
Rebuilding Connection, One Conversation at a Time
I help couples who want to feel close again but keep getting stuck in the same painful cycles often shaped by past roles, unspoken expectations, or old hurts. If you’ve been feeling disconnected in your relationship, we’ll slow things down, map the cycle pushing you apart, and rebuild safety and emotional closeness.
Couples therapy can help you:
Understand each other’s needs more deeply
Break out of cycles of blame, withdrawal, or silence
Heal resentment, guilt, or regret
Build a stronger foundation for closeness and mutual support
My Therapy Approach: ACT, CFT, and EFT
Grounded, culturally responsive, and collaborative.
I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you live by your values, Compassion-Focused Therapy to quiet the inner critic, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to strengthen emotional bonds. Many of my clients come to therapy when self-doubt, shame, and relationship disconnection start to feel too heavy to carry alone.
We focus on the patterns that keep you stuck—especially those shaped by upbringing, cultural values, or relationship history—and move toward connection, authenticity, and self-worth.
